Genuine Dermaroller™

The Dermaroller or Microneedling system is a barrel-like roller with multiple tiny micro needles that are thinner than your own hair! When the needles are rolled across the skin, hundreds of microscopic “pin pricks” are created.

Dermaroller treatment provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

The concept behind needling is the stimulation of new collagen production in your skin. The needle breaks the skin and causes micro-trauma and micro-inflammation without removing the top layer of skin. Your body responds by sending blood to the area for healing. As your skin repairs itself and heals underneath, new collagen builds up just below the surface. The wrinkles, lines, or depressed scars plump naturally from the bottom-up without the use of anything artificial. Repeated needling sessions gradually and continually build new collagen to fill-in the treated areas. Collagen is what your body produces to keep your skin young healthy.

The gentle stimulus provided by Microneedling is far more “skin friendly” and thus far more effective than many other more invasive and more expensive skin treatments. Micro-channels seal within hours after application: long enough for new collagen-structures to form within the lower layers of the skin and short enough to allow you to resume normal schedules quickly.

This appears to be the end of the story. But it isn’t.

Underneath the skin’s surface, much more is going on. In fact, the healing response which begins immediately upon the injury kick-starts a healing process that last for several months, and up to a year. This natural healing process is where all the magic happens.

Deeper needle penetrations into the dermis produces better collagen and elastin production. The breaking of blood vessels is also key to starting the 12-month healing and reorganizing phase. If the needle only pokes the topmost skin layer and does not reach the dermis, there may be some improvements but no dramatic results. For optimum results in depressed acne scarring, surgical scars, severe pigmentation, stretch marks, and cellulite, it is recommended to have the deeper treatments at the clinic with our trained professional.

Before Procedure Skin Care
We recommend and offer a package of products for skin care before the procedure. (It is not a requirement for treatment). These products are:

• Flavo-C Serum it is recommended before the procedure to help the skin to improve its tone and texture and elevates the levels of skin-essential anti-oxidant and collagen booster. This will help prepare the skin for the procedure. It is recommended to use at least 2 weeks before the procedure is carried out. If used regularly for at least 2 months it will assist in the reduction of fine lines.
• Flavo-C Serum before the procedure as Flavo-C Serum. It is recommended for more damaged skins.
• MelaClear Serum it is recommended before the procedure for skin depegmentation treatment. This will help prepare the skin for the procedure. It is recommend to use at least 2 weeks before the procedure is carried out. If used regularly for at least 2 months it will help to prevent and reduce melanin production and enhance and lighten hyperpigmented skin.

After Procedure Skin Care
It is recommends and offers a package of products for skin care after the procedure. These products are:

• Chiroxy Cream after the procedure helps to soothe and calm the skin, it is recommended to continue to use until the redness has cleared.
• Heliocare Cream or Gel, a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with a SPF50. it is recommended to apply immediately after the procedure if you will be in daylight and to continue to apply this on a daily basis for at least two weeks even during the winter or on cloudy days.
• Lycogel Camouflage after the procedure it is only recommended to use this specialised product. Lycogel will counteract heat sensation, reduce swelling and will camouflage any bruising and/or redness resulting from the procedure. This will enable you to continue with your normal daily activities. Lycogel can also be use as your everyday foundation as it will keep your face protected with non-paraben SPF 30.
